I am a French-born Colombian and Iranian photographer. I worked as a human rights researcher for 15 years, and I turned to photography to put images on the social issues I was researching. I also wanted to talk about the diasporic existence, the human need to belong and the relationship we hold to the land, especially the "homeland".
In my photography, I depict cultures through its people, its landscape and the objects that are quintessential to this culture. Whether I am commissioned for a portrait, a wedding, a brand shoot or whether it is my own documentary project, this is how I see the world. I try to show what makes up the fabric of cultures through the mundane and the daily habits.
I am currently interested in working with brands who are honoring a cultural heritage they wish to celebrate and preserve.
